Billary Paul HuckaBush from Texarkana

"Hi, I'm Billary Paul HuckaBush from Texarkana, and I am gonna be your President for the next 28 years, I hope you like me, if not ... deal with it."

With a combined 12 years from George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, and 8 years from Bill Clinton, and potentially 8 more years from either Hillary Clinton, Mike Huckabee, or Ron Paul it looks like Texas and Arkansas may be able to boast of providing us all the Presidents over a
the last 28 year span - I am not kidding you? Texas and Arkansas, all the Presidents - if you ever wanted to see just how far our country has fallen you don't need to look any further than this.

What is even more alarming is that for the past 20 years, just two families from these two states have governed America from the highest position there is - as Commander-in-Chief. And if you listen to them - you would think they had nothing to do with the issues we are all facing today, including Iraq, immigration reform, global terrorism, health care, education, civil rights, social issues. No, not Billary or the Bush's, they tell us that it was someone or somebody else that has caused all the problems we all now have in front of us.

I thought there were 50 states in the United States. What is it with Texas and Arkansas, and not with it for the other 48 states when it comes to producing our Commander-in-Chief? East Coast - zero! How about it New York, major under-achiever. Massachusetts - all intellect and talk. West Coast - C+, at least California sent Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon before this Texarkana run. Midwest - lousy, way below expectations. South - well, does Jimmy Carter even count? In Texarkana, they say the other 48 States are all hat - and no cattle when it comes to Presidents. And from the looks of it - they are right.

You can't convince me that only Texarkana lineage produces the Commander-in-Chief gene. You can convince me that the country deserves better leadership than what we have gotten the past 20 years - so I say - either Billary Paul HuckaBush starts taking responsibility for the
state our country is in and starts doing something to lead us out of it. Or I say we run Billary Paul HuckaBush out of Washington for good - who is with me!

Never thought about it before. But you are right. We have spent a lot of time with these folks and I, for one, want something more than this. Mike Huckabee would restore the values needed as President. Go Mike Huckabee!

Why do we keep electing hicks that don't have a clue about anything, I have no idea. It's about time to elect someone other than the good ol' boys and Hillary doesn't count. Ron Paul scares me to death, what rock did he crawl out from under? He needs to take all his internet trolls and go back to wherever these "things" were before we started to understand that they actually do exist and live in our country. It is amazing that we can still call it the United States of America with this band of nut cases.

Okay! I live in Arkansas and while Mike Huckabee was our Governor, and he may have done some good things for Arkansas I do not want him as our President, not a good idea in my eyes. The Bush's are not originally from Texas, (blue-blooded easterners) they bought a ranch there numerous years ago, so they could call themselves Texans! But am with you, we do not really need any of Billary Paul HuckaBush as president, although I did like President Clinton. It is a tight race right now between Clinton, Obama and Edwards with Richards close behind. I am still doing my research and homework, but am leaning toward Obama or Edwards, it would make a heck of a ticket! P.S. Yeah for California & R.Reagan :o)

The Bush's are Texans. Senior lives in Houston and Junior will be back in Crawford Jan 2009. I like Mike Huckabee but admit that he is new to me. It seems like a lot of folks from Arkansas don't like him. Why is that?

Okay lets explore the Bush's. They are transplanted Texans! Sr. was born in Milton, MA, attended Phillips Academy in Andover, MA and then attended Yale. Jr. was born in New Haven, CT, (was raised in TX??) but attended Phillips Academy, then Yale and then Harvard and later moved back to TX. I know Texans are proud to say the Bush's are from Texas, but they are Blueblood Easterners and there are many people from MA and CT that are proud to say they are from those states! I lived in Texas for 8 years and was considered a darn Yankee, but not the Bush's! As for why I don't want Mike Huckabee for President, I just do not know if he is the person for the Oval Office. Yes, he has some good ideas and he did some good things for Arkansas, but I don't agree with everything he has said or done. However, if you talk to my daughter and son-in-law they like him as a Democratic Nominee???!!! I guess it just depends upon who you talk to from Arkansas!

Why do you assume you can be intelligent if you are from the south?

I am not assuming you can or can not be intelligent if you live in and/or are from the south. I have lived as far north as Alaska, am from the West Virginia and Pennsylvania area and as far south as Texas. I have found that regardless of where you are from - north, south, east or west - knowledge is not related to Geography.
