How is McCain going to beat Billary or Obama if he doesn't get the evangelical bloc? He isn't. Even I thought the Republicans were smarter than this. Handed to the Democrats on a silver platter ... who would have thought it?
McCain did not get to where he is by being so naive. He has time and will bring around the conservatives to his side. There is still plenty of differences between McCain and either Hillary or Obama. And many people are not going to vote for illegal immigration amnesty or leaving Iraq before the job is finished, and while we are at it, the Democrats universal health care program is going to increase the bureaucracy and our taxes beyond what millions of Americans are willing to accept. Don't count McCain out yet, he has been a real survivor and there are plenty of us who are standing by him.
